On Sunday, May 4, we are teaming up with The Crossing for another joint worship event that you simply don’t want to miss.
We have a conflict at the hotel that won’t allow us to meet that Sunday, so just like last year, we will be meeting at The Crossing — only this time we are meeting with them in their new location (at Batavia High School) and during their regular morning services at 9:30 and 11 a.m.
Mike Edmisten will be preaching, and band members from both churches will lead worship. If you attended last year’s “Connect at the Crossing,” you already know this will be a Sunday not to miss. And your kids will love the joint service in the works for them as well.
As we have said, portable doesn’t mean perfect, and we knew going into our lease with the Holiday Inn Eastgate Ohio that there would be a few Sunday mornings that we would not have access to our portable space. On those rare instances, we’ll either be having a Night of Worship at the hotel or we will get even more creative as we are with The Crossing. And that’s the beauty of being portable.
The staffs from both Connect Christian Church and The Crossing are already hard at work planning an awesome event for May 4, so please be praying that God is glorified in a huge way through this event.
Make sure to get Sunday, May 4th on your family’s calendar, and remember that week we will be meeting at Batavia High School (1 Bulldog Place) off of Old 32.
- Keep in mind that much of the village of Batavia Ohio is under construction, so taking Ohio 32 and turning near Clermont Mercy Hospital at Herold Road, then left on Old 32 may be your best bet.
