What do dodgeball, fashion, Capture the Flag and gladiators all have in common? Normally, not much. But this Friday, May 3, all will be part of our Connect Students Lock-In.
Junior and senior high students are invited to bring a friend and head to our lock-in at our Amelia building from 7 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday. If you are a 6th through 12th grader, you don’t want to miss this! Our Connect Students Team, led by Dan Robinson, has tons planned, including plenty of great food, music and lots of other games.
No worries parents, as volunteers will be on hand all night to be sure your students are monitored and safe. (And every single volunteer involved with our students goes through a thorough national background check.)
What to bring?
- High schoolers bring a 2 liter of pop.
- Middle school boys bring a salty snack to share.
- Middle school girls being a sweet snack to share.
After our May 3 lock-in, Connect Students will next meet on Sunday night, May 19. We are taking a break from our normal Sunday-night gathering so we can all go to the special Connect at the Crossing service this Sunday night, May 5, then enjoy Mother’s Day with family on Sunday, May 12.
