Growing at Connect

At Connect, we have a very simple vision: Connecting, Growing and Serving. The way we grow at Connect is primarily through Connect Groups. These groups (you might also know them by other names such as “small groups” or “community groups”) are smaller groups than our normal Sunday services. They meet throughout the year in three periods and cover a variety of topics and interests.

Why?

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)

We have found that the best way for us to grow together and grow in Christ is through community. This is why Connect Groups are such an important part of who we are as a church.

When?

Connect Groups meet throughout the year in three semesters. Each semester is usually 8-12 weeks long with a break in between. This means you’re not stuck in the same group forever (unless you want to be!) and can meet new people and explore new topics. The three semesters run roughly on the following schedule.

Spring (February – April)
Summer (June – July)
Fall (September – November)

Topics

Connect Groups cover a wide range of interests and topics. Some of the groups we have offered in the past include:

Marriage
Parenting
Finances (including Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University)
Studies of Specific Books of the Bible
Ground Floor & Second Floor (Christianity & Bible Basics)
Spiritual Warfare

How to Register

Registering for a Connect Group is really simple. One month before each semester begins, registration opens here on connect.cc and on Sundays in person.
